I just bought this yesterday for 400pg. I was going to kill it (been feeling homicidal of late) but then I just happened to look at it's pedigree. The body hex is only 12 points from Green, so if it was pure I was gonna see if a friend wanted him. But when I looked at his pedigree, I got quite a shock. He's a Starter!

I bought a Starter for only 400pg!

Now, I know that mistaken sales happen...accidentally sold one of my own, once. So i'm gonna see if the former owner wants him back. As of now i've had him for a day and received no PMs about him, so I guess they really meant to sell the little guy.
I'm just happy I checked the pedigree before sending him off to die. I'd hate to kill off a Starter.

I feel your pain. I have dreampony goals that i'm breeding for, and while my failures are pure and pretty, I usually end up giving them away to friends or sending them to the trial market at 6 days of age. And don't even get me started on the starter-failures. Selling for 10k or less, usually. Lucky for me I'm good at getting colors near what i'm after, so there are only one or two true failed starters.

And Max the green unicorn is still in my stables, so I can safely say that it was an intentional sale. I've even got him some mates now, and I don't even like unicorns. Go figure.
